Who We Are and What We Do

The Texas CHIP Coalition was formed in 1988 to bring together state and local organizations to support adequate state funding and program improvements for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Children’s Medicaid. 

The Coalition engages in public education and advocacy, working closely with state agencies and the Texas legislature on behalf of children and their families.

Upcoming Meetings

Meetings are generally held on the third Friday of the month between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at the Texas Medical Association (TMA), 401 15th Street. Please visit the meetings page for specific times and dates as well as minutes from past meetings.
